This simple herb tofu is perfect for a weeknight! Tossed together in just 15 minutes, it's fresh, delicious, and incredibly convenient. Serve with rice and veggies for a quick, satisfying dinner.
I got inspired by a recipe from a restaurant in Lisbon, they make a similar herb tofu and I decided to give it a try. After a few tries I managed to get something I like that's quite similar, easy to make and just so good.
Here I use a blend of herbs:
- Coriander
- Parsley
- Chive
- Mint

This easy herb tofu is even better with a splash of soy sauce. After multiple tries, I realized something was missing, and adding soy sauce after cooking made all the difference. It gives a subtle umami flavor that elevates the dish. I promise, it’s worth it!

Ingredients
- 400 grams tofu
- 20 grams parsley
- 20 grams coriander
- 20 grams chives
- 10 grams mint
- 4 tbsp yogurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Flour, for coating
- Soy sauce
Instructions
- Cut the tofu into cubes and coat with flour.
- Cook the tofu over medium heat, sautéing until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, combine all the herbs, yogurt, olive oil, and lime juice in a bowl; season with salt and pepper.
- Once the tofu is cooked, add a splash of soy sauce and toss it in the herb sauce and serve.
